Nice to Meet You, I’m Maxine!

As a mother of three and a military spouse, I know all too well the pressure of feeling like you never measure up. It can be hard to tell which way to go when you feel plagued by anxiety, self-doubt, and overwhelm, all while maintaining your home, work, and relationships.

Many of the women I’ve worked with are full of drive and passion but feel stuck in unhelpful thinking patterns that erode confidence and disconnect them from what matters most.

In therapy, I begin by honoring YOU and working together to understand what you value. We use this as a guide for the healing work of building self-trust, practicing helpful coping skills, processing past trauma, and learning how to care for yourself as well as others.

I ground my counseling work in a person-centered approach that honors you and your unique circumstances. I utilize ACT therapy, trauma-informed CBT, and logo therapy, tailoring the counseling sessions to your needs as we go.

While there is no “perfect” way in life, when you learn and center what holds true for you, it allows you to feel more peace and presence in yourself, your choices, and your life.

I’d love to help you find your way back to yourself.
